ICT & Environment Sector (IES) committed to harnessing the power of information and communication technology (ICT) for sustainable development and environmental resilience. In today’s technology-driven world, ICT is not only an industry in itself but also an essential enabler across education, health, environment, agriculture, business, and industry. Without the effective use of ICT, holistic national development is unimaginable.

At the same time, sustainable environmental management, climate change adaptation, and mitigation are recognized as complementary and cross-cutting areas where ICT plays a pivotal role.

IES works in partnership with government, non-government, and donor agencies, as well as through its own resources, to:
