Primark REEL Lean Program

Pilot Project of Primark REEL Lean Program Funded by Cotton Connect (South Asia) Pvt. Ltd Through this project, graduate cotton farmers are made more aware of cotton cultivation. The aim is to increase cotton production, maintain sustainable cotton quality, ensure brand credibility, establish a relationship between farmers and ginners through a defined supply chain, reduce cultivation costs, utilize natural resources to enhance cotton production, improve soil health, reduce carbon emissions, and raise awareness about biodiversity conservation. Training is provided to support these goals. In the fiscal year 2023–24, activities were carried out involving 2,000 farmers across 12 upazilas in 6 districts. In the fiscal year 2024–25, the program is being implemented in 48 upazilas across 14 districts, involving 8,413 cotton farmers.

Objective

Ensure using power of nature to improve crop yield, reduce input cost, and diversify incomes for farmers, their families, and entire farming communities. Improve soil health and protection biodiversity To established strong linkage sustainable cotton in the supply chain,using technology,to improved soil health,biodiversity,animal welfare and cotton quality.

  • MEAL (Monitoring , evaluation and Learning)- farmer list verification, FFB etc
  • Traceability/ trace bale: Procurement data verifying, self-assessment on data traceability
